"Hello! My name is Stephanie Morales. I’d like to start by introducing and sharing some fun facts about myself. I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work at Central Connecticut State University, followed by a master’s degree in social work from Springfield College. While pursuing my degrees, I had the pleasure of completing internships at both a Hartford High School and an East Hartford Middle School. I also worked with children on the Autism Spectrum providing in-home and in-clinic Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA).
I come to you most recently from the outpatient setting where I worked with children between the ages of six to eighteen years old. My other experiences include providing family therapy to high-risk youth in a residential population and supporting parents struggling with substance use. Ensuring they felt supported in their roles as parents was just as important as navigating their mental health and substance use concerns.
What can a client expect from you as a therapist?
“Someone who is here to listen and help guide you.”
If you weren't a therapist, what profession would you choose?
Middle School teacher
Fun Fact

My AAU days are behind me, but I still love playing basketball, reading books (especially Harry Potter), and baking
