My name is Aisha Boyd and I believe myself to be a well-rounded individual. I am a true believer and a spiritual being with great energy who loves to empower individuals. I care deeply about the work I do and the support I give to allow others to feel comfortable to open up and be honest about their experiences in life. I am an honest person who is not afraid to hold space for accountability and vulnerability. I am a nurturer, caregiver, and one who loves to listen, observe, learn, laugh, smile, sing, and dance. I am someone who understands we all have things we need to work on individually and are not perfect. I believe having a strong support system can make a difference in anyone's life.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from Springfield College, MA; a Master's Degree in Social Work from Springfield College of Social Work, MA and a diploma in Baking and Pastry from Escoffier Culinary School.

I  bring with me more than 20 plus years of experience and education working as a Clinician across diverse domains, settings, ages, and populations. My clinical experience includes time spent as a Crisis Clinician for Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services with Wheeler Clinic's Crisis Intervention Service, Social Worker for Department of Children and Families, Family Based Recovery Clinician for The Village for Families, Clinical Social Worker for Hartford Board of Education, Medical Social Worker with Hartford Hospital, Forensic and Crisis Clinician with Community Mental Health Affiliates, Community Clinician for Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and as a private fee-for-service therapist at multiple outpatient clinics.

I specialize in working with young children, adolescents, young adults, and adults providing individual therapy. I also hold a background in group, sibling, family, and couples therapy as well.

I am very passionate about the work that I do within the mental health field.  I understand that this field chose me and I am more than honored to work with you and your family in such a dynamic field that continues to grow with individuals such as myself.
